Industrial and Fabrication Welding Applications
Structural and Fabrication Welding
-
Structural and fabrication welding is used to join steel components into frames, supports, and load-bearing assemblies.
-
This type of work requires strong, consistent welds capable of handling mechanical stress and vibration.
-
Common applications include equipment frames, platforms, guards, and structural supports.
Production and Assembly Welding
-
Production welding focuses on repeatability, efficiency, and consistent quality across multiple parts.
-
Controlled welding procedures and fixturing along with inspections ensure every assembly meets the specification of the job.
-
This is an ideal approach for OEM components, subassemblies, and medium-to-high volume production parts.
-
Welded assemblies are delivered ready for downstream operations or final installation.
Custom Metal Fabrication Welding
-
Custom fabrication and welding supports, low-volume, or specialized projects.
-
The welds and welding methods are tailored to the design, materials, and performance requirements
-
This allows for flexibility while always maintaining professional fit, finish, and strength
-
Common uses include prototypes, frames, and niche industrial components.
Welding Service FAQ
Seaborn does not offer mobile welding services, we only weld at our facility. The only difference between mobile welding and other welding services is the location. Mobile welding comes to you and other welding services occur the vendors plant or factory. Mobile welding almost always uses a generator but in recent years there are more portable battery powered systems as well.
These materials can use all common welding methods ie TIG, MIG, Stick and are case dependent. If you are not a welding professional we do not recommend you choosing the welding method.
We take on industrial welding projects regularly. We do not commonly take on smaller one off jobs.
Welding positions (1G-6G) classify the orientation of groove welds (G) for plates and pipes, ranging from easiest (1G) to most difficult (6G). 1G is flat, 2G horizontal, 3G vertical, 4G overhead, while 5G and 6G cover fixed pipe positions
We provide professional welding and fabrication to a broad range of industries, including, OEM production, industrial equipment, material handling, automotive suppliers, construction, and manufacturing.
Yes. Seaborn provides scalable production welding services with repeatable quality, tight tolerances, and on-time delivery for industrial clients
We are CWB 47.1 and 47.2 Divsion III certified. We can quickly move back to Div II should it be required. This means we have approved welding procedures for carbon steel and aluminium. Additionally our staff has been tested and qualified for welding for both steel and aluminum to CSA standards.
