Seaborn Manufacturing provides built to print welding and welded assembly services for OEMs, equipment manufacturers and industrial customers across Ontario. We work from customer drawings and specifications to produce repeat components, frames, machine bases, equipment skids and fabricated assemblies. Manual MIG, TIG or robotic welding is selected according to the material, joint requirements, part geometry, quantity and need for repeatability. Fixtures, positioners and modular welding tables support consistent fit up across scheduled releases and repeat orders.

Manual and Robotic Welding for Production
We review customer drawings, weld requirements and order quantities to establish the production approach. Any welding process prescribed by the drawing or applicable specification governs.
Manual MIG Welding
Manual MIG welding supports production components and assemblies where part geometry, weld access or quantities favor a manual process.
Manual TIG Welding
Manual TIG welding is available for production components where joint design, weld access or finish requirements make it appropriate
Robotic Welding
Three welding robots with positioners support repeat production where quantities and part design justify programming and dedicated fixtures.
Production Fixtures and Fit Up
Production fixtures, modular 3D welding tables and positioners support repeatable part location, clamping and weld access. Finished assemblies are checked against customer drawings and agreed inspection requirements.

Carbon and Mild Steel
Carbon and mild steel are Seaborn’s primary welding materials. Manual welding and suitable robotic applications support repeat parts and assemblies made from sheet, plate and tube.
Stainless Steel and Aluminum
Stainless steel and aluminum welding are available for suitable repeat production work. We review the alloy, thickness, joint design, weld requirements, quantity and handling requirements before confirming the process and production route.

From Cut Parts to Welded Assemblies
Laser cutting, tube laser cutting, CNC tube bending and press brake forming can be completed before welding. Pre weld machining can also be included when the drawing requires it. This allows cut, formed, welded, inspected and assembled components to be coordinated through one supplier.
Seaborn does not provide post weld machining, so that operation must be arranged separately.

CWB Certification and Inspection Requirements
Seaborn Manufacturing is CWB certified to CSA W47.1 and W47.2, Division 3, for steel and aluminum welding respectively.
Customer drawings and specifications establish the weld and dimensional requirements. Include any required welding codes, certification divisions, inspection reports or acceptance criteria with your RFQ so we can confirm the scope before quoting.

Send PDF drawings showing the revision, material, dimensions, tolerances and weld requirements. Include quantities per order, expected annual usage, required operations and delivery dates. DXF, DWG and STEP files can support the drawing package.

Lead times are confirmed with the quotation based on material availability, required operations, fixture preparation and the production schedule. Include your required delivery dates with the RFQ so we can assess them before an order is placed.
