From our Waterloo facility, Seaborn supplies Toronto and GTA manufacturers with built-to-print sheet metal and plate components produced from controlled customer drawings. Our strongest fit is recurring OEM and industrial work, including scheduled releases, blanket orders and substantial cut-only requirements. Seaborn produces built-to-print sheet metal parts and blanks in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum from customer drawings and CAD data. Our strongest fit is recurring production and scheduled releases, with material supplied for ongoing requirements.

Heavy Carbon Steel Plate

Carbon and mild steel plate up to 2 inches can be laser cut for base plates, brackets, gussets, equipment parts and fabrication-ready components. Parts can be supplied cut-only or prepared for downstream operations.

Repeat Production from Controlled Drawings

Production is based on customer-controlled drawings and revision data. Material grade, thickness, tolerances, quantities per release and expected annual usage are reviewed before quoting and retained for repeat orders.

Cut-Only or Downstream Fabrication

Suitable components can be supplied as laser-cut parts or continue into forming, machining, CWB-certified welding, inspection and assembly. The quoted scope is defined by the customer drawings and production requirements.

Sheet and Plate Laser Cutting Capacity

Seaborn’s Waterloo facility uses a 5 ft × 10 ft sheet and plate laser to produce built-to-print components for Toronto manufacturers. Carbon steel is our primary laser-cut material, ranging from gauge sheet through 2-inch plate. Stainless steel and aluminum are available for suitable repeat production requirements.

Seaborn is not positioned for walk-in, hobby, residential or decorative laser work. RFQs should include the drawing, material grade and thickness, tolerances, quantity per release, expected annual usage and required delivery date.

All production is completed at Seaborn Manufacturing’s facility at 629 Colby Drive in Waterloo, Ontario. From this facility, Seaborn supplies built-to-print sheet and plate components to Toronto and GTA manufacturers.

Seaborn is best suited to repeat, built-to-print sheet and plate components, blanket orders, scheduled releases and substantial cut-only requirements. We are not positioned for walk-in, hobby, residential, decorative or one-off laser-cutting projects.

Include a controlled PDF drawing, revision level, material grade and thickness, tolerances, quantity per release, expected annual usage, required delivery date and any downstream forming, welding or assembly requirements. DXF, DWG or STEP files can also be provided when available.
